Tambo Boulevard, Metung
A peaceful 4-bedroom retreat on Tambo Boulevard in the charming village of Metung — set along the Gippsland Lakes. An ideal environment for participants seeking calm, nature-connected respite or a supported medium-term stay while transitioning to long-term housing.
Understanding STR & MTA
Not sure which type of accommodation suits your participant's plan? Here's a quick guide.
Short-Term Respite (STR)
Formerly known as STA, STR gives carers a planned break while participants enjoy supported accommodation. Typically 1–14 nights, funded under Core Supports in the participant's NDIS plan.
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)
MTA supports participants who need temporary housing while waiting for long-term SDA or transitioning from hospital or another care setting. Available for up to 90 days under the participant's plan.
Who Can Access These Properties?
Any NDIS participant with STR or MTA funded in their plan. Both agency-managed and self-managed participants are welcome. Support Coordinators can submit referrals on behalf of participants.
2-Hour Referral Response
Every accommodation enquiry is acknowledged within 2 business hours by our Partnerships Director — a real person, not a call centre. We make it easy for coordinators to place participants quickly.
